Early Years Pupil Premium
Please read the information below which gives details of our Early Years Pupil Premium Grant.
The Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) is designed to narrow the attainment gap between low income families and their peers by improving facilities, equipment and learning experiences to benefit the development of eligible children who are aged 3 or 4 years old.
You may also get Early Years Pupil Premium if your child is currently being looked after by a local authority in England or Wales, or if your child has left care in England or Wales through:
- adoption
- special guardianship order
- a child arrangements order
Every child who is eligible for the EYPP could raise up to £342.00 a year for our Nursery School. This funding from the government comes directly to Stoneygate Nursery School.
Stoneygate Nursery School is committed to supporting all children to achieve their full potential regardless of their background.
Please help us to acquire the EYPP funding by ensuring all the forms are filled in, on Induction of your child to Stoneygate Nursery School.
Our Pupil Premium Strategy document shows information for our previous and current year regarding our Pupil Premium plans. This document indicates our allocation of the Pupil Premium grant, the main barriers to educational achievement, how we propose to spend the Pupil Premium to address these barriers and how we will measure the impact.
